3D building model and proposed orientation of the proposed building are included in day lighting simulation. Both artificial lighting and day lighting can be simulated depending on the requirements and can be analyzed with lighting simulation software such as Ecotect, DIALux, Relux allowing a designer to achieve exactly the right lighting for the desired outcome to meet the LEED norms.
